Event Builder

You open the Event Builder by clicking the ellipsis in any Date/event field in a data grid, or by clicking the Date/event button in a spreadsheet view.

You use the Event Builder to:

identify events that must be met before the rule takes effect
set properties for each event

You can add multiple events for a single row in the data grid or spreadsheet. All the events must be completed before the rule takes effect.

Fields on the Event Builder form

Field	Description
Events	The list of events that must be complete before the rule takes effect. You can Insert, Delete, and Create a copy of the events, and move the individual events up or down.
Type	The type of event that is added to the field. Event types include: Start of Schedule: The event occurs at the beginning of the schedule. At a specific date: The event occurs on a specific pre-determined date. Location quantity mined: The event occurs when a specific quantity has been mined at a location or heading. You can specify the unit for the quantity, and the quantity is calculated as the sum of all material classes. Location percentage mined: The event occurs when a certain percentage of a location or heading has been mined. Mining or Fill Location is complete: The event occurs when an entire mining or fill location is complete, or when a specified polygon, object, or elevation within the location is complete. Mining or Fill Location is activated: The event occurs when an entire mining or fill location is started, or when a specified polygon, object, or elevation within the location is started. Stockpile maximum capacity is reached: The event occurs when a stockpile has reached maximum capacity. Stockpile minimum capacity is reached: The event occurs when a stockpile has reached minimum capacity. Scheduling period is completed: The event occurs when the scheduling period has ended.
Location	The location to which the rule is specific. You can choose only one location.
Date	The date on which the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select At a specific date for the Type.
Time	The time at which the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select At a specific date for the Type.
Unit	The unit for the quantity mined variable. Options are: VOLUME MASS LENGTH Note: This field is available only if you select Location quantity mined or Location percentage mined for the Type.
Value	The value for the volume, mass, or length that must be mined before the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select Location quantity mined for the Type.
Percentage	The percentage of the location that must be mined before the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select Location percentage mined for the Type.
When	The stage that must be completed at the location before the rule takes effect. Options are: The whole location completed Elevation completed Polygon completed Object completed Group completed Note: This field is available only if you select Mining or Fill Location is complete or Mining of Fill Location is activated for the Type.
Stockpile	The stockpile that must reach minimum or maximum capacity before the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select Stockpile maximum capacity reached or Stockpile minimum capacity reached for the Type.
Period Number	The period number that must be completed before the rule takes effect. Note: This field is available only if you select Scheduling period completed for the Type.
